Hazbin Hotel's Creator Has Seen Your Season 2 Predictions — And She Has Good News

The highly-awaited second season of the musical adult cartoon Hazbin Hotel arrives on the streaming platform this week, and fan speculation has been intense.

Season 1 presents a large cast of personalities residing in Hell and Heaven, pits them against each other accompanied by songs detailing their conflicts, and builds heated competitions and angsty, affectionate connections that drive fan obsession.

The community's expectations for season 2 differ greatly, but certain threads emerge over and over: Will Angel Dust break free from Valentino? Might we learn more about the binding agreement affecting the enigmatic Alastor? Will [favorite character] and [other character] finally get together?

"Obviously, I don't make the show with audience demands specifically in mind," the showrunner commented recently. "But I believe that me being a fan of my own show means there's a lot of it just inherently. I also am eager for these things, and I hope some of these things to occur, and obviously some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

The creator reveals her big-picture plan is for a five-season run of Hazbin Hotel. Future installments have received approval by the production companies, which produce the series.

That could imply viewers have to be patient for some of the major resolutions — but they could be shocked at how quickly the new season moves, and how much of what they're waiting for unfolds this season.

"I believe people are going to get a lot out of it," she adds. "There are several debut moments. I think we get some incredible reveals, some fascinating origin tales, and even basic elements, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] We're going to hear much more singing from the previously silent cast members."

The creator is well-informed of the theories and desires about season 2 — especially in the format of fan bingo cards.

"I've come across a couple people make a prediction grid about season 2," she mentions. "Obviously I won't share it, but I've actually done a few items, and almost all of them have almost a bingo. I thought, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that leads me to believe we accomplish much [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I realized, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that makes me happy."

Hazbin Hotel the second season launches on the streaming service on Oct. 29.
